This is a 31 year old female who is 5 feet 5.5 inches tall and weighed 130 pounds at the time of her surgery. Due to a family history of breast cancer with mother, paternal and maternal grandmothers, she elected for genetic testing which revealed she was positive for BRCA 1 gene mutation. She then elected for bilateral prophylactic nipple sparing mastectomies with immediate breast reconstruction with placement of sub-pectoral tissue expanders and ADM. Once she was filled to a size of her preference she elected for bilateral removal of tissue expanders, capsulotomies with placement of smooth, round, highly-cohesive, 555 cc Mentor silicone gel implants with autologous fat grafting to her breasts.
